Prom pageant
The CSRA Prom and Pageant Expo will be from 3 to 6 p.m. today at North Augusta High School, 2000 Knobcone Ave. There will be a fashion show featuring area high school students modeling prom and pageant gowns and hairstyles, prom and pageant vendors and a new and pre-owned gown swap and sale. A Trace of country
Trace Adkins will perform at 7:30 p.m. today at the University of South Carolina Aiken Convocation Center, 471 University Parkway.
The concert will feature Jason Michael Carroll and the American Man Tour, which is sponsored by Great American Country.

Maze of music
Maze, featuring Frankie Beverly and Keith Sweat, will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday at the University of South Carolina Aiken Convication Center, 471 University Parkway.

Outside sales
There will be a spring yard sale from 7 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Aiken County Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department, 828 Richland Ave. W., Aiken. Spaces or tables will be available for $10 and reservations to sell must be made before Thursday. For information call (803) 663-6142.
Free tax assistance
Aiken Public Library will have free income tax preparation through April 10 for low- and middle-income taxpayers with special attention for those ages 60 and older. Taxes are prepared by volunteer counselors trained by the Internal Revenue Service.
Nancy Carson Library will have income tax preparation and electronic filing available for free from 10 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Mondays and Tuesdays through April 15, by appointment only. Call (803) 279-5767.
Bring copies of 2006 federal and state tax returns and current year W-2s, 1099, Social Security card and picture ID.
Pond regattas
The Aiken County Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department will hold the UGA Southern Regional Collegiate Sprints Regatta and the Augusta Invitation Spring Regatta on March 8 and 15 at Langley Pond.

Fun on the farm
The Aiken Farm Fest will begin at 8 a.m. March 28 and 29 at 207 Chime Bell Church Road, Aiken.
There will be an antique tractor and engine show, tractor and truck pulls, kids pedal pull, sawmill, veneer mill and other demonstrations and exhibits.

Painting stroke
One-stroke painting classes will be offered from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays through March 26 at Gregg Park Civic Center, 119 Trolley Line Road, Graniteville.
The cost is $35 per class with a $5 discount if multiple classes are paid for in advance. Supplies are included. Class size is limited to 10 people. Call (803) 663-7552.
Walking for MS
