NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Entered into rest February 22, 2008, Mr. Elbert Joseph 'E.J.' Mayson, husband of Mary Gilden Mayson, of North Augusta. The funeral service will be Sunday, February 24, at 2:00 p.m. in the Rowland Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Meyer and Dr. Roy Head officiating. Entombment will be in the Pineview Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 p.m. this evening. Additional survivors include a daughter, Lindy Myers and her husband, David, of North Augusta and; two grandchildren, Jason Myers and his wife, Carrie, of West Columbia, and Malinda Myers Kennedy of Charleston; and one great grandchild, Riley Myers, West Columbia.
