Jessie Wooten Huckins (AIKEN, S.C.)

AIKEN, S.C. - Completed life's journey and entered into rest on Thursday, February 21, 2008, Ms. Jessie Wooten Huckins, age 93, of Aiken, formerly of Graniteville, S.C., wife of the late John Huckins and daughter of the late Charlie Wooten and the late Verona Owens Wooten. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was born in Lexington County, S.C. but has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. She was retired from Graniteville Company. She was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church in Graniteville. She had a winning personality and pleasant smile that produced her many friends. She will be missed, but there is a consolation in knowing that she has moved to her Heavenly home, where everyone is happy and smiling, and there is no more pain or sorrow; just joy in that land. The funeral service will be conducted Sunday, February 24, 2008 at 2 p.m. at St. John's United Methodist Church in Graniteville with Rev. Larry Watson officiating. The interment will follow in the Graniteville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 1 p.m. on Sunday, until the hour of service.
