NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Mrs. Louise Nichols Baskett, 84, of W. Five Notch Road, entered into rest February 18, 2008 at Trinity Hospital. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, February 23, 2008 at Mealing Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Dyson officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Baskett, a native of Aiken County, was a member of Mealing Grove Missionary Baptist Church, where she served faithfully on various choirs, the deaconess board, and the willing workers club. Survivors include her husband, Frank Baskett, Sr.; three daughters, Shirley (Hubert) Morris, Atlanta, Belinda L. Stribling, Grovetown, and Teresa (Wesley) Brinson, Hephzibah; three sons, Frank (Judy) Baskett, Jr., Belvedere, Harry Lee Baskett and Willie Ivy Baskett, North Augusta; a sister, Fannie J. Blanchard, North Augusta; nineteen grandchildren, ten great- grandchildren, four great-great- grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Friends may call at the residence or after 1 p.m. today at the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. today at the funeral home. G. L.
