Henry Freeman (BEECH ISLAND, S.C.)

BEECH ISLAND, S.C. - Mr. Henry Freeman, 56, of Beachdale Drive, entered into rest February 16, 2008. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, February 23, 2008 at Bean Pond Baptist Church, Jackson, S.C., with the Rev. Raford Roundtree officiating. Interment will be in Cowden Cemetery. Mr. Freeman was a native of Midway, Fla. He was a pipefitter for Olin Chemical Plant, Augusta. Survivors include his wife, Irene McCorkle Freeman, Beech Island; a daughter, Tekila Freeman, Beech Island; stepdaughters, Fatima (Hector) Bush, Gloverville and Latia Canty, Beech Island; his mother, Julia Williams, Tallahassee, Fla.; seven sisters, Rosa (Cleveland) Reed, Orlando, Fla., Winfred (Thomas) Maddox, Midway, Fla., Mary (Anthony) Brunson, Tallahassee, Fla., Katuria (Oliver) Richardson, Monticello, Fla., Jennifer Freeman, Tallahassee, Fla., Toni (Carlos) Lowe, Sarasota, Fla., and Sandquilla (James) Jackson, Midway, Fla.; six brothers, Robbie Freeman, Hollie (Katie) Freeman, Orlando, Fla., Cubert Grant, Orlander (Pam) Freeman, Jr., Midway, Fla., Kenneth Freeman, David (Dorothy) Freeman, Tallahassee, Fla.; nine grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
