NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Mr. James H. Tillman, Jr., 43, of Stephens Mill Drive, entered into rest February 15, 2008, at the VAMC, DD, Augusta. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at Jeter Baptist Church with the Rev. James E. Thomas officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Tillman, a native of Edgefield County, was a 1982 graduate of Strom Thurmond High School. He was a United States Army Veteran and a member of Jeter Baptist Church, where he served as a trustee. Survivors include his parents, James H. and Bena E. Miller Tillman; four brothers, Leon (Chiqui) Tillman, Marcellus (Suffyah) Tillman, Rodney Tillman, and Johnny (Tammy) Mealing; goddaughter, Sekina Tillman; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
