EAMC BLYTHE, Ga. - Entered into rest Thursday, February 14, 2008, at her residence, Mrs. Marian L. Hatcher, 65, wife of the late Edgar Hatcher. Mrs. Hatcher was a native of Texas but has resided in the Augusta area for the past 20 years. She retired after 10 years of service at Eisenhower Army Medical Center and was a member of VFW Post 649 Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Hatcher was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved arts, crafts and animals. She often took in stray dogs, cats and even goats. Family members include her sons: Charles Franklin Lee, Harold Roy Monroe Miller, Edward T. Miller and the late William Clay Miller; daughter: Cynthia Ann Christine Taylor; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and brothers: Don Edward Lee and Charles William Lee. She will be met in heaven by her husband, son and grandson, Donnal J. Taylor. A graveside service will be held Monday, February 18, 2008 at 3:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Charles Stevenson, Michael Parkman, Michael Berry and Andy Millikin. Memorials may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for Research, 2302 Parklake Dr. NE, Suite 210, Atlanta, GA 30345-2896. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
