EVANS, Ga. - Mrs. Neva LaRue Moser, 83, wife of the late Hampton Taylor Moser, died February 14, 2008 at her home. Mrs. Moser was a native of Mineral Wells, TX and attended Texas Wesleyan College in Ft. Worth, TX. She has resided in the Augusta area for the past 12 years. She was a homemaker and enjoyed helping others by volunteering her time through various church and civic organizations. She also served on the Board of Visitors at Lenoir Rhyne College, Hickory, NC. Mrs. Moser was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Greensboro, NC and attended the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Augusta. Family members include her daughter: Cornelia Ruth Ware and husband Fleming of Augusta; son: James Dexter Moser and wife Allison of Boone, NC; brother: James Richard White and wife Margaret of Dallas, TX, grandchildren: Christina Kay Hippert and husband Erick, Amy Melissa Ware and husband Michael Shea, Carly Glenn Moser, Michael Taylor Moser and 3 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Moser was preceded in death by her daughter: Charla Kay LaJoie. A memorial service will be held First Lutheran Church, Greensboro, NC, at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, February 23, 2008 with Pastor Charlie Zimmerman.
