James H. Tillman (NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C.)

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Mr. James H. Tillman, Jr., 43, of Stephens Mill Drive, entered into rest February 15, 2008, at the VAMC, DD, Augusta. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Mr. Tillman, a native of Edgefield County, was a 1982 graduate of Strom Thurmond High School. He was a United States Army Veteran and a member of Jeter Baptist Church. Survivors include his parents, James H. and Bena E. Miller Tillman, North Augusta; four brothers, Leon (Chiqui) Tillman, Bloomington, Ind., Marcellus (Suffyah) Tillman and Rodney Tillman, North Augusta and Johnny (Tammy) Mealing, Trenton, S.C.; a goddaughter, Sekina Tillman; aunts, Lillie Mae Thomas, Fannie (Andrew) Simpkins, Bertha (Danny) Cain, Susie (Charlie) Hammond, Essie (Thomas) Scott, Georgia (James) Cooks, Grace Hillary, Daisy Tillman and June Tillman; uncles, Walter Miller, Joseph Tillman, S M Tillman, B R (Mary) Tillman, Bennie (Kaite) Tillman and Michael Tillman; seven nieces, three nephews, a host of cousins and friends.
