AUGUSTA, Ga. - Saunders Edward Wilson, Sr. of Augusta entered into rest on Saturday, February 9, 2008 at the VA Medical Center in Augusta. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Janet and eight children: Saunders E. Wilson, II (Patricia) of Vicenza, Italy, Evelyn L. Wilson (Charles Shropshire) of Clinton, La., Thaddeus B. Wilson, Sr. (Patricia) of Oxnard, Calif., Clarence R. Wilson of Peoria, Ariz., Anthony J. Wilson of Richmond, Va., David E. Wilson (Teresa) of Wilmington, N.C., Jamie M. Wilson (Thomasina) of Hephzibah, Janet M. Wilson of Savannah, Ga.; his two surviving sisters, Estherlynn Young and his sister Isabelle Wilson, both of Farmville, Va.; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was a Jehovah's Witness.
