HARLEM, Ga. - Mrs. Bessie Wyl Ivey Lamb, 87, wife of the late E. Rudolph Lamb, entered into rest on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at the Heartland Hospice House, Augusta, Ga. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 15, 2008 at the Gumlog Primitive Baptist Church, Kite, Ga. with the Reverend Ron Hankal officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Lamb will lie-in-state one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Lamb was born in Johnson County to the late George and Allie Belle Ivey. She had retired as supervisor from the Murray Biscuit Company and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, Martinez, Ga. Survivors include two daughters, Pat Grimaud and husband Andrew, Washington and Runnette Smith and husband Jackie, Harlem; one brother, George N. Ivey, Jr. and wife Annette, of Kite; 5 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. If so desired, memorials may be made to the Columbia County Humane Society, P.O. Box 204771, Martinez, Georgia 30907. Pallbearers will be nephews. Friends may call at the residence of Pat and Andrew Grimaud, 1337 Pecan Grove Road, Washington, Georgia.
