SYLVANIA, Ga. - Anne Brant Boddiford, age 82, died Monday, February 11, 2008 at Screven County Hospital in Sylvania. The Screven County native was a member of Buck Creek United Methodist Church and was retired from Farm Service Agency. She was also a member of Screven County Farm Bureau and Buck Creek Homemakers Club. She was preceded in death by her husband: Dewey E. Boddiford, Jr. and Brother: Gene Brant. Survivors: son and daughter-in-law: Mike and Elizabeth C. Boddiford of Sylvania; sisters and brother-in-law: Betty B. and Virgil Scott and Cindy B. Williams, all of Sylvania; sister-in-law: Barbara Brant of Clyo; granddaughter: Heather Howard of Sylvania; step-granddaughters: Mary Hall, Tonya Hall, Lisa Hall and Kisha H. Sanders; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Visitation: Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Funeral services: Thursday, February 14, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Purnell officiating. Burial at Buck Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery.
