THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Shirley J. Brenneman, 55, loving wife of 36 years of Mr. Dale Brenneman, entered into rest on Sunday, February 10, 2008 at her residence. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at Starling Funeral Home, Harlem, Georgia. Mrs. Brenneman was born in Andalusia, Alabama to the late Johnnie and Annie Odom and was a Quality Assurance Technician. She was a loving wife, mother, and nanny and will be greatly missed by family and friends. Additional survivors include one son, Shad (Mary) Brenneman, Thomson; one daughter, Shelia (Philip) Becht, Charlotte, N.C.; three brothers, George A. (Virginia) Odom, Pearson, Ralph R. (Judy) Odom, Lakeland, and Johnny W. (Pam) Odom, Douglas; one sister, Betty (Ben) Nobles, Pearson; and seven grandchildren, Austin, Alexis and Levi Becht, Charlotte, N.C., Bridget and Lea Brenneman, Savannah and Amber Husk, of Thomson; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Charlotte A. Fender; brother, Jimmie C. Odom; and nephew, Vernon B. Odom.
