Jerry Joseph Clark (GLOVERVILLE, S.C.)

GLOVERVILLE, S.C. - Entered into rest on February 9, 2008, Mr. Jerry Joseph Clark, husband of Mrs. June Hutto Clark, of 2224 Elm Street, Gloverville, SC. Mr. Clark was preceded in death by a son, Jeff Clark. Surviving with his wife, June are five children, Jody Clark, Gloverville, S.C., Joel Clark (Sonya), Edgefield, S.C./Australia, Jenny Clark Richardson (Timmy), Aiken, S.C., Jan Clark Koon (Chris), Sweetwater, S.C. and Jared Clark (Norma), Greenwood, S.C.; one sister, Ida Lee Darnell, Gloverville, S.C.; and ten grandchildren, Sarah, Jodi Lynn, Heather, Caleb, Bianca, Brad, Gavin, and Emma Grace Clark, Katelyn Barnes, Travis Taylor, Kelly and Clark Richardson, and Charls and Noland Koon. Mr. Clark was born in Aiken, S.C. to the late Hattan and Ella Clark. He was a United States Navy Veteran of the Korean War. He was a retired maintenance supervisor for Augusta Services with twenty-six years of service. A celebration of life service will be on Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m. at Gloverville First Baptist Church with Rev. Carl Hayes, Mr. Charles Tool and Mr. Paul Felberg officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Gloverville First Baptist Church's Youth Program, P.O. Box 157, Gloverville, SC 29828.
