THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Sallie Jacobs Smith departed from this life on February 1 2008. Aunt Sallie, as she was affectionately known, leaves to cherish her loving and giving memories a self-appointed daughter (niece), Amy Lee Benson of Thomson; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Beard of Thomson and Mrs. Grocie Curry of Ft. Meyers, Fla.; one brother, Mr. Sammie Shank of Atlanta. Services will be Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. at First Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Appling Ga., Rev. Roscoe Perry officiating.
