I am sick of seeing and hearing Sen. John McCain yap such false claims as "I'm from a border state. No one wants those borders secure more than me," and "I was a foot soldier in the Reagan revolution," and "We need to lower taxes," and "I run on my record."
After 25 years in Congress, he has done nothing to secure any border. He has voted twice for amnesty, and co-sponsored a bill on the topic. He claims that it is not amnesty because of some vague wording, but he dissects Mitt Romney's use of the word "timetable" because that was how Washingtonians used the word at that time. Does that sound like a so-called national security expert, and one who wants a secure border, or a typical Washington politician?
He was in Congress when Reagan was elected, and that's as far as it goes. McCain has voted against giving taxpayers a partial refund more than once. Is that Reaganesque?
If he claims to run on his record, why is he running from it? He voted in 2001 and 2003 against giving us some of our money back because the "wealthiest Americans" will benefit. Look, if someone making $8 an hour and someone making $1million a year receive $400 of their money back from the government, on whom will it have the bigger impact? Now suddenly he is a supply-side economist? He has done nothing to secure our borders; now he wants to build a fence and deport? That is McCain's record, folks.
I participated in advanced voting, and voted for someone who has proven himself as an executive in the private and public sectors. Although Mitt Romney was not one of my early choices, through the course of this campaign he has proven himself to be worthy of our vote.

If the millionaire only received $400 from the bush tax cuts there wouldn't be a problem, however, according to the Urban-Brookings Tax Policy Center,in a article dated May 2003, "While the average American will derive little, if any, benefit from the cuts in dividend and capital gains taxes, the law offers significant benefits to the wealthy. For example, the top 1% of taxpayers will receive an average tax cut of almost $21,000 each."
