Thursday: The Kiokee District of Boy Scouts of America will honor youth and adult leaders during its annual awards banquet at 6:30 p.m. at Christ Our Savior Episcopal Church, 4227 Columbia Road, Martinez. Cost is $20 at the door. Call (706) 541-1296 for more details.

Feb. 16: A presentation, "Hunting in Africa" will be held at 6 p.m. in the ballroom of The Fitzpatrick Hotel in Washington, Ga. Drikus Swanepoel, a professional hunter from Namibia in southwest Africa will speak. For more information, call (706)678-1440.

Feb. 16: The S.C. Waterfowl Association will hold its 13th annual Duck Shuck Oyster Roast at 6 p.m. at the Omar Shrine Center in Mount Pleasant, S.C. Tickets are $30. Call (803) 452-6001 for details.
