AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Betty Jean Mullen, 70, of Augusta, entered into rest on Friday, February 1, 2008 at Dwight David Eisenhower Army Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Dale Mullen. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 8, 2008 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home on Lumpkin Road. A native of Prattsburgh, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Cleland and the late Edna Reamer Cleland. Betty had been in the Augusta area since 1975. She was a homemaker and a member of the Augusta Bowling Association along with the U.S.B.C. Survivors include three sons, Kelly Mullen and his wife, Tonnia of Charleston, S.C., Kevin Mullen and Kris Mullen, both of Augusta; two grandchildren, William Mullen and Brian Mullen, both of Charleston and one brother, Archie Cleland of Avoca, N.Y. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, February 7, 2008 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Elliott Sons Funeral Home on Lumpkin Road. Sign the guestbook at
