William Lee Davis (AUGUSTA, Ga.)

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. William Lee "W.L." Davis, beloved husband of Dorothy Whisnant Davis, entered into rest Thursday, January 31, 2008 at his residence. Mr. Davis worked for Southern Siding & Aluminum as a Roofer and was a member of Flowing Wells Worship Center. Memorial services will be held Sunday, February 3, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. from Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Lumpkin Road Chapel with Reverend Bobby Renew and Reverend Tony Rhodes officiating. Survivors include his wife; children Sheila Abshire, Monica Laird, Todd Laird, Jimmy Laird, Mattie Lee Egnezzo and William Davis Jr.; sisters and brothers include Sarah Poole, Bucky Davis, Calvin Davis, Geraldine Malin, Franky Davis, Johnny Davis, Ann Crowley and Wayne Newsome; 25 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Mary Davis; sister Eunice Scott and son Phillip Laird. The family will receive friends after the services on Sunday.
