AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Leon O. Cantrell, beloved husband of the late Bernadine Cooper Cantrell, entered into rest Thursday, January 31, 2008. Mr. Cantrell retired from the maintenance department with Columbia Nitrogen. He was a Baptist by faith. Funeral services will be held at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Lumpkin Road Chapel, Saturday, February 2, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Fred Heard officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Survivors include his brother, Kyle Cantrell, Oneida, Tennessee; and sister, Pauline Stacey, West Virginia; nephew, Mike (Michelle) Phillips, Knoxville, Tenn.
