AMITYVILLE, N.Y. - Mrs. Mamie Lou Stokes entered into rest on Saturday, January 26, 2008 at her residence. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2008 at 3 p.m. at B.A. Williams Memorial Chapel with Bro. Larry Harmon officiating. Mrs. Stokes, a native of Screven County, had lived in New York for several years. Survivors are two sisters, Sarah Reddy, Lizzie Mae Allen, Augusta; four brothers, John Allen, Wilbur Allen, James Allen, Willie Albert (Rita) Allen, Augusta; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
