LOUISVILLE, Ga. - Mrs. Fronie Bell Black, 105, the beloved wife of the late David Ozie Black and the daughter of the late Luther Marsh and Hattie Lamb Marsh, entered into rest Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at the Jefferson Hospital. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 2, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at James Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. David Jones, Rev. Ronnie Shelton and Don Black officiating. Burial will follow at Jordon Chapel Church of God Cemetery in Edgehill, Ga. The family will receive friends Friday evening, February 1, 2008 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Black was born on May 9, 1902 at Glascock County, Ga. Mrs. Black was a member of Jordon Chapel Church of God, she was a homemaker. Survivors include her children, Lois Wilcher (Carroll) Rhodes, David (Faye Brooks) Black, Lonice Williford Russell, Kester (Betty Andrews) Black, Janelle B. Shelton, Jean B. (James) McCoy, Jimmy (Vannie) Black, and Don (Lynda) Black; and a daughter-in-law, Anita B. Black; 20 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren and 18 great- great-grandchildren. Mrs. Black was preceded in death by her son, Luther Black. Pallbearers will be Bob Wilcher, Dean Wilcher, D. Wilcher Tony Black, Billy Williford, Marc Williford, Robbie K. Black, Dwight Shelton, Scott Black, Craig Black, and Randy Black. Honorary Pallbearers will her all her grandchildren. James Funeral Home-Wrens, Ga.
