LINCOLNTON, Ga. - Mrs. Christine Jones of Martin-Jones Road entered into rest January 29, 2008 at McDuffie Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 3, 2008 at 3 p.m. at Price Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis J. Quinn officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Jones was a native of Lincoln County. She lived in Long Island, N.Y. a few years before returning back to Lincolnton. Survivors are one son, DeWayne Jones, Lincolnton; four daughters, Vickie Beverly Jones, Lorie Ann Jones, Kelly Mae Jones and Penny Jones, Lincolnton; three brothers, Rufus Reid, Alabama, John Henry Reid and Freddie Reid, Fort Worth, Texas; stepmother, Eva Parks, Lincolnton; ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of relatives and friends.
