I would like to point out that the person posting at 7:12 am EST is NOT me but someone using a close approximation of my name with the intent of confusing readers. The person doing this is too weak minded and too cowardly to post his thoughts using his own name or his own screen name. I commend the letter writer and shivas for his support of Michelle Zupan's efforts in the Adopt a Stream program.

Whenever I have my oil changed I pay my mechanic an extra ten bucks to give me the old oil. I tell him i need to grease things at home. But really I take it and dump it into the creek that is about a mile from my house.

I would like to point out that Cain is a crybaby. When SNL parodies the president, does he feel the need to make a press statement that it was not actually him making the statement. Anyone with a brain knows the difference, but Original recipe Cain is too much of a baby to take being made fun of....even though it's sooooooo easy. His only defense it to attack the intelligence of someone he doesn't even know.

I was just a boy when the greenies came to my town in their hybrid cars....they said they were there to make the world a better place. They took dad's tractor because they said it used fossil fuels. They killed my dog Rex because they said the methane gas from his waste was killing the O-zone. And Mom...she just went crazy when they ruined her garden....they said the pesticides she used were killing some beetle. Now she just sits and stares at the place where her blue ribbon roses used to grow. As hey got ready to leave our town I asked them....why did you do all this....they answered "for the environment you little Eichman". I swore on that day..that I would do everything in my power TO DESTROY THE ENVIRONMENT!!!! Now I drive an SUV,never recycle,take other recycling bins and empty them into regular trash cans....and yes...I even pee in the ocean. Evil am I.....maybe...but I got my reasons.

3 days ago I was driving slightly over the speed limit when a Prius nearly blew my doors off passing me. I wish I could have talked with him, because I know a much more inexpensive way for him to save on gas.

Any fool that thinks buying a Prius but then driving fast makes one a hypocrite should think twice about speaking or posting in public again.

arcdog, I think you missed my point. Most people buy a prius so they can save gas....correct? If they truly want to save gas, then they should try driving the speed limit.....correct. Or maybe they bought the prius so they could continue to drive fast while using less gas than they used to......so i guess you are right. But to a certain extent it does make one a hypocrite...so I guess I'm just a fool.

Per Shivas's standard, if you aren't marching in the environmentalists parades, then you must want to destroy the environment. There are many extremes here. You don't have to be all the way on either end. I would venture to say that most people are somewhere in the middle.
