EDGEFIELD, S.C. - Miss Melonie Teresa Brown, 46, of Hillcrest Drive, entered into rest January 28, 2008 at Edgefield Community Residence Center. Survivors include a sister, Johnnie (Mae) Anthony Simkins, Columbia, S.C.; four brothers, George (Mildred) Brown, James (Jeanette) Brown, Edgefield, S.C., Gregory (Tracie) Brown, Mt. Pleasant, S.C. and Charles (Torchia) Brown, Columbia, S.C.; maternal grandmother, Emma Hill, Edgefield, S.C.; four aunts, Sarah Robertson, Annie Oliphant, Sallie Mae Strom, Edgefield, S.C. and Mattie Herbert, Washington, D.C.; one uncle, Willie (Annie) Hill, Edgefield, S.C.; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Friday, February 1, 2008 at Jeter Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Jasper Lloyd officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
