AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Rozielee B. Hobbs Steinmitz, wife of the late Frederick Steinmitz Jr., passed away at her residence on January 28, 2008. Mrs. Steinmitz was born January 18, 1931 in Screven County to Horace Bevill and Edna Bolton Bevill. She was a lifelong resident of Augusta. She was a realtor and member of the Board of Realtors in Augusta for many years prior to her retirement. She was a member of New Hope Church of God, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 205 and a member of the LA Societe de Femme Cabane 719. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law Ronald E. and Patricia Hobbs, Augusta; stepdaughter Christine Babb, Ford, N.J.; two granddaughters, Tammy Shafer and Gina Hall both of Martinez; step-grandsons Derek and Tyler Brin of Ford, N.J.; one great-grandson Tyler Hall, Martinez and one great-granddaughter, Courtney Shafer, Martinez. Funeral services will be held at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Lumpkin Road Chapel, Friday, February 1, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. with Reverend Rich Bowen officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 205 and La Societe de Femme Cabane 719. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 31, 2008 from 7-9 p.m. at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Lumpkin Road Chapel.
