JOHNSTON, S.C. - Funeral services for Mr. Richard Padgett will be held 3:30 p.m. Friday, February 1, 2008 at the Reedy Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Jasper Lloyd officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Barbara H. Padgett of the home; children, Richard Padgett, Jr. (Dorothy), Debra Heath, Karen Padgett, Doretha Richardson (Kenny), Lynn Jones (Gerald), Twanna Padgett, and Constantina Padgett; god-children, Fred Williams (Savannah), Charles Bellamy (Valarie); siblings, James Padgett, Goode Padgett, Ervin Padgett, Charles Padgett, Marie Cook (Henry) and Mattie Pompey (Charlie); thirteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
