THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. Stan F. Morris, 27, died Sunday, January 27, 2008 at his residence. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 30 in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Shelton officiating. Burial will be in the Morris Family Cemetery. Mr. Morris was a native of McDuffie County. He was a construction worker with Wiley Brothers. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Sandra Morris. He is survived by his father, Mr. Stanton Morris, Thomson; a brother, Timmy (Judy) Usry, Wrens; a niece, Nicole Usry, North Folk, Va.; two nephews, Blake Usry, Jessie Usry, both of Thomson; two aunts, Jewell Phillips, Thomson, Bobbie Scott, Hephzibah. Pallbearers will be Blake Usry, Jessie Usry, Ricky Phillips, CJ Brown, Jut Hughes, Howard Lazenby, John Kitchens, Kevin Taylor, Brandon Story, Sam Christian. Friends may call at the Curtis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday night at the funeral Home.
