EDGEFIELD, S.C. - Miss Melonie Teresa Brown, 46, of Hillcrest Drive, entered into rest January 28, 2008 at Edgefield Community Residence Center. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Survivors include a sister, Johnnie Mae (Anthony) Simkins, Columbia, S.C.; four brothers, George Brown, James (Jeanette) Brown, Edgefield, S.C., Gregory (Tracie) Brown, Mt. Pleasant, S.C., and Charles (Torchia) Brown, Columbia, S.C.; maternal grandmother, Emma Hill, Edgefield, S.C.; four aunts, Sarah Robertson, Annie Oliphant, Sallie Mae Strom, Edgefield, S.C., and Mattie Herbert, Washington, D.C.; one uncle, Willie (Annie) Hill, Edgefield, S.C.; a host of other relatives and friends.
