Lois Lott Hair (BLACKVILLE, S.C.)

BLACKVILLE, S.C. - Funeral services for Lois Lott Hair, 85, widow of John Henry Hair, will be held two p.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at the Blackville First Baptist Church with burial at the Blackville Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from six to eight p.m. Tuesday at the Folk Funeral Home, Williston. Memorials may be sent to the Palmetto Health Hospice, P.O. Box 1123, Bamberg, S.C. 29003 or to the Blackville Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 365, Blackville, S.C. 29817 and the Blackville First Baptist Church, 19449 Solomon Blatt Ave., Blackville, S.C. 29817. Mrs. Hair died on Monday, January 28, 2008. Born in Blackville, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Leon William Lott and Geneva Givens Lott. Mrs. Hair was a Licensed Practical Nurse having worked for more than thirty-seven years in the Denmark and Barnwell County area. She was a member of the Blackville First Baptist Church, where she was a member and past president of the WMU, was a member of the church choir and taught in the Junior, Intermediate, the Young Peoples Departments for more than sixty- seven years. Survivors include daughter, Betty Hair Williams (Dwain) of Barnwell; son, James Henry Hair (Dianne) of Blackville; sisters, Theo Bodiford, Audrey L. Bodiford and Marjorie Williams all of Blackville; grandchildren, Joe B. Owens, Jr., Jena H. Lee (Jeff), Keith Hair (Bethany); great-grandchildren, Katie and Andrew Lee.
