AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Wayne Robinson, 52, beloved husband of Barbara Mills Robinson, entered into rest on Saturday, January 26, 2008 at the Medical College of Georgia. Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2008 with Dr. Gordon Reed officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Mr. Robinson lived most of his life in the Augusta area and was a disc jockey. He was preceded in death by his nephew, Shawn W. Robinson. Other survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard K. Robinson, Sr. of Martinez; mother- in-law, Marlene Mills of Augusta; brothers and sisters-in- law, Rick and Brenda Robinson of Grovetown and Chris and Holly Robinson of Augusta, Scott Robinson and Robbie Robinson both of Augusta; sisters and brothers-in- law, Sherry and Floyd Montgomery of Martinez and Tina and Ronnie Paige of Grovetown. Pallbearers will be Rick Hammonds, Charles Sherrer, Paul Lotspeich, Mitch Colvin, Randy Ramirez, and Joe Johnson. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Georgia Chapter, 3715 Northside Parkway, 400 Northcreek, Ste 300, Atlanta, Ga. 30327 and to the Augusta Humane Society, P.O. Box 12035, Augusta, Ga. 30914-2035. The family would like to offer a special thanks to the doctors and staff of 5-South at MCG.
