NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Mrs. Dorothy Crocker Lang, 85, wife of the late Oliver Howard Lang, Jr., of Curtis Dr. entered into rest Saturday, January 26, 2008 at University Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 28, 2008 at Pineview Memorial Park with Rev. Mark Baynham officiating. Mrs. Lang was a graduate of the Howard School of Birmingham, AL and a former member of the Birmingham Cotillion. She was a Cub Scout and Girl Scout den mother and was a member of the Garden Club. She was a member of Fairview Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday School. Survivors include a son, Ward H. 'BeBe' Lang (Mae), of Grovetown; a daughter, Cherry Cook, of North Augusta; a sister-in-law Polly Harris of Birmingham; six grandchildren Meredith Miller (Bruce), Shawn Cook, Lauren Gillespie (Roby), Ward Lang, Jr., Graham Howard Lang (Lorrie), Amy Grace Lang Schaffner (John) and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Marion Glenn Harris, Jr. The family will be at 444 Calbrieth Circle, North Augusta, or 5064 Redbud Dr., Grovetown. The family will receive friends this evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Rowland Funeral Home.
