ALBANY, Ga. - Roger Blevins, 1932-2007, died Thursday, January 24, 2008 at his residence in Albany, GA. His remains have been cremated. Mr. Blevins was born in Paintsville, KY on May 23, 1932 to Charlie and Edia Belvins. He was the owner/operator of R.B. Masonry Construction Company for 42 years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was an avid collector. Mr. Blevins is survived by his wife, Jean Bowman Blevins, formerly of Virginia; three children; two sisters, Billie Maynard of Augusta, and Betty Jo Spadlin of Paintsville, Kentucky; two brothers, Clyde Blevins and Doker Middaugh; and a step-daughter, Tamra Edwards and her husband Scott of Kingsland, GA.
