AIKEN, S.C. - Finished life's journey on Saturday, January 26, 2008, Mrs. Elaine Coursey Mock of Aiken, beloved wife of James E. "Jim" Mock and daughter of the late James E. "Ed" Coursey and the late Eula Margaret Powell Coursey. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Chris Mock and his wife, Stacia; a daughter Tiffany Mock; three grandchildren, Leah, Bethany and Stephen Mock, all of Aiken. She was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy C. Smith and a brother, Edward "Bo" Coursey. She was a member of Clearwater First Baptist Church. Her greatest gift was that of hospitality and her greatest joy in life was to serve others through her work in the church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will truly be missed by all whose lives she touched. The funeral service will be conducted Monday, January 28, 2008 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Rev. John Bolin officiating. The interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens in Langley, S.C. The pallbearers will be Kim Smith, Roger "Butch" Smith, David Coursey, Michael Coursey, Craig Smith, Johnny Strong, Darrin White and Steve Blaney.
