Bertell W. Gordon (AUGUSTA, Ga.)

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Bertell W. Gordon, of Hernlen Street, entered into rest on Sunday, January 20, 2008 at University Hospital. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Miles Memorial C.M.E. Church with Rev. Jerry Poole officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Mrs. Gordon, a native of Augusta, was a member of the Miles Memorial C.M.E. Church. Survivors are three daughters, Linda G. Parks, Theresa G. Veasley, Augusta, Beverly G. Holland, Stone Mountain, Ga.; one son, Anthony (Tammie) Gordon, DPM, Athens, Ga.; brother-in-law, John W. Byrd, Sr., Akron, Ohio; three sisters-in- law, Alice Williams, Louise Williams, Augusta, Catherine Williams, Roanoke, Ala.; four grandchildren, Sherri (Craig) Madison, Gilbert, Ariz., Adrienne (Rodney) Evans, MD, Charlotte, N.C., Milton L. Veasley, II, Augusta, Alicia Thompson, Atlanta; five great-grandchildren, Emily N. Madison, Jacole D. Madison, Jalen A. Evans, Justin I. Evans, KŽAundre M.
