MITCHELL, Ga. - Mr. Bill Reese, 71, beloved husband of Mrs. Mary Patsy Reese, died Saturday, January 19, 2008 at Roper St. Francis Hospital in Charleston S.C. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, January 22 in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. James Ramsey and Rev. Mike Cook officiating. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery. Mr. Reese was a native of Kite, Ga., but had lived in Thomson and Mitchell for many years. He attended the First Baptist Church of Thomson and The First Baptist Church of Gibson. He was a retired business owner. Survivors i nclude his wife, Mrs. Mary Patsy Reese, Mitchell, Ga.; his daughter, Dr. Karen Reese, St. Petersburg, Fla.; his son, Kendel and his wife Cristie Reese, Atlanta, Ga.; a sister, Patsy and her husband Roy Russell, Thomson; two brothers, Teddy and his wife Rebecca Reese, Thomson, Edward Lee Smith, Kite, Ga. Mr. Reese was preceded in death by a brother, Jackie Reese. Pallbearers will be Pat Ansley, Blake Ansley, Ronny Marchman, Brian Machalk, Adrian Burrell, and Mike Neal.
