NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Mrs. Lillian Cooper Schlachter, 85, of Mealing Ave., entered into rest Sunday, January 20, 2008 at University Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 23, 2008 in the Chapel of Rowland Funeral Home with Dr. Gary C. Redding officiating. Interment will be at Pineview Memorial Park. She was a member of First Baptist Church of North Augusta and of the church's Sheffield Club. Survivors include three sons, Joseph K. Schlachter of Clarks Hill, David E. Schlachter of North Augusta, and Gregory Schlachter of Trenton; one daughter, Ann Giesler of North Augusta; eleven grandchildren and five great- grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at Rowland Funeral Home.
