WILLISTON, S.C. - Funeral services for Hazel Grooms Dandridge, 76, will be held eleven a.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at the Williston First Baptist Church with burial at the Williston Cemetery. The Reverend David Richardson will officiate. The family will receive friends from six to eight p.m. Monday at the Folk Funeral Home, Williston. Mrs. Hazel died on Saturday, January 19, 2008. Born in Dorchester County, she was a daughter of the late Levi Grooms, Sr. and Ruby Sweat Grooms. She was married to the late John F. Dandridge, Jr., was a homemaker and a member of the Williston First Baptist Church. Survivors include sons, David (Kim) Dandridge of Williston, Jody (Jewel Ann) Dandridge of Panacea, Fla.; sisters, Louise Hilton of Lebanon, Erma Austin of Shelby, N.C., Barbara Dukes, Virginia Baker, Alma Craven and Rose Smalls, all of Summerville; brothers, Tommy Grooms and Levi Grooms, Jr., both of Summerville; grandchildren, Jamie, Jennifer (Matt), Shawn, Stephanie and Matthew; two great- grandchildren, Kylie Bell and Tyler Dandridge; and a number of nieces and nephews.
