WADLEY, Ga. - Rev. Samuel Martin entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 12, 2008 in Swainsboro, Georgia. His funeral will be held on Sunday, January 20, 2008 at 2:30p.m. at Pineola Church of God in Wadley, GA with Rev. H.L. Tanner officiating. Burial will be at the Brinson Hill Cemetery . Pallbearers will be Freddie Martin, Sr., Nathaniel Martin, Sr., Nathaniel Martin, Jr., Steve Martin, Dea. Walter Price and Dea. Isaac Bivins. His survivors are: his four daughters, Winnie Tullis, Ft. Pierce, FL, Minister Louise Passmore, Wadley, GA, Ora Morgan, Louisville, GA and Frances (Thomas) Berry, Wrens, GA; four sons, Rev. Freddie (Cheryl) Martin, Philadelphia, PA, Nathaniel (Gracie) Martin, Augusta, GA and John H. (Willie Mae) Martin and Benjamin (Earnestine) Martin, Wadley, GA; his step children, Martha Headspeth, Marie Edwardson, Josephine Gaston and Henrietta Gaston, NY, Betty Roberts, Avera and Christine Goodson, Wrens, GA, 50 grandchildren, 106 great grandchildren and a host of great great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
