STATESBORO, Ga. - Hugh Algnon Ray. 81, of Statesboro, GA died Thursday January 17, 2008 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center. He was born in Lakeworth, FL and retired from Union Camp Corporation. He served in the U.S. Army during WW II and was a member of the Word of Life Church. He loved fishing, gardening and reading about the Lord. He is survived by two sons, Hugh Lamar Ray (Mary) of Brooklet, GA and James Timothy Ray of Salem, MI; two daughters, Janice Ray of Brooklet, GA and Nelwyn Ray Davis (Loy) of Bloomingdale, GA; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Visitation: 3 - 5 PM Sunday January 20, 2008 at Fairhaven Funeral Home. Funeral service: 11:00 AM Monday in the Chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home with Rev. Lorraive Young and Rev.
