BELVEDERE, S.C. - Mr. George Millard Wright, 100, husband of Edith McDaniel Wright, of Hampton Ave., entered into rest Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at Trinity Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 18, 2008 in the Chapel of Rowland Funeral Home with Rev. John Meyer and Rev. Tony Christie officiating. Interment will be at Westover Memorial Park. Born in Gough, Ga., George had a long and fulfilling life. He was one of the lucky few to become a centarian. He stayed active all his life and had an avid appreciation for gardening and the outdoors. He and his loving wife tended their bountiful garden even after he reached the ripe age of 100. He was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church and attended Belvedere First Baptist Church. Additional survivors include a daughter, Sylvia Napier and two step-daughters, Angela Mitchell and Ginnell Randall all of North Augusta. Honorary pallbearers will be the Co-Ed Senior Class of Belvedere First Baptist Church and the Andy Brown Sunday School Class of Woodlawn Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to The Golden Age Club of Belvedere First Baptist Church, P.O.
