WARRENVILLE, S.C. - Completed life's journey January 14, 2008, Mrs. Geneva Snipes Riner, of Warrenville, S.C., wife of the late Elmer C. Riner and daughter of the late Rufus Snipes and the late Ruth McKenzie Snipes. She is survived by three daughters, Peggy DeRosa of Augusta, Sandra Fox Atkins of Bath, S.C. and Diane Shelor of Atlantic Beach, N.C.; two brothers, Louis Snipes and Robert Snipes both of Savannah, Ga.; two sisters, Elizabeth Ann and Samantha; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and a number of cousins. She was born in Stillmore, Georgia but has been a resident of Aiken County for the past 65 years. She was a member of the Warrenville First Baptist Church. She was a good mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a kind, gentle lady with a precious smile that could certainly win the hearts of all whose lives she touched. She will truly be missed but Earth's loss is Heaven's gain. The funeral service will be conducted Thursday, January 17, 2008 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Rev. Arthur Zawislak officiating. The interment will be at 3 p.m. at Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Swainsboro, Ga. Family and friends are asked to meet at the graveside by 2:45 p.m. The pallbearers will be Kevin Creed, Allen Fox, Brian DeRosa, Daniel Ready, William Hicks, Jr. and Gene Riner.
