AUGUSTA, Ga. - Robert Leo Leckie, 78, beloved husband of Frances Smith Leckie, entered into rest January 10, 2008 in St. Augustine, Florida. Graveside services will be held Thursday, January 17, 2008 at 2:00PM at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Chaplain Major Richard Green officiating. Mr. Leckie was born in Augusta and retired from the United States Army. Additional survivors include one daughter, Teresa Smithson, Jacksonville, FL; two sisters, Elizabeth Downey, Augusta, GA., Charlotte Reynolds, Front Royal, VA; three grandchildren, Brandon Embrey and his wife Christine, Jordan Embrey, Clayton Embrey; and two great grandchildren, Canon and Samantha Embrey.
