AUGUSTA, Ga. - Michael Vullmer, 61, died Wednesday, January 9, 2008 in Augusta, Ga. A native of South Carolina, he was the son of the late Louise Gray and John Gilbert Fulmer. He was educated in schools in South Carolina and Virginia and had been employed at the Augusta VA Hospital System. A member of the Clemson United Methodist Church, he was a US Air Force Vietnam Era Veteran. He is survived by a daughter, Hannah Stone of Colorado; his brother, John G. Fulmer, Jr. and his wife, Barbara, of Chattanooga, Tenn.; his twin sister, Mary F. Sargent and her husband, Dick, of Greenville, S.C. and six nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 19, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Clemson United Methodist Church in Clemson, S.C. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the HCR Manor Care Foundation (Heartland Hospice), 1365 Interstate Parkway, Augusta, GA 30909.
