At the state level, we can petition our South Carolina legislators to pass House Resolution 3185 and Senate Resolution 416. These resolutions were introduced last year. They are resolutions simply informing our legislators at the federal level that our state rejects the NAU. Our local legislators are well aware of the issue because I have personally given them the necessary information.
At the federal level, pressure should be exerted on our senators and representatives to reject the NAU. Again, they are well aware of the issue. They are hoping it will go away. If they refuse to act in a responsible manner, they need to be replaced.
If we care anything about our children's future, now is the time to act.

I'll have to do some more research before I make any rash statements, but I will say that I find it dubious that steps were taken during the Bush/Fox/Martin summit in 2005 to get this thing rolling, steps that weren't even submitted to Congress for approval. Its also pretty suspicious that absolutely no public mention of this has been made by Bush in the near-three years that its been in the works.
I have heard this wild tale repeated during middle-of-the night radio programs along with the 'truths' on UFO's. I can find no legitimate source for this other than one major newspaper called it an "Urban Legend". I think Mr Windham might be worried about the wrong thing. Canada and Mexico are adjoining nations and a meeting between the leaders doesn't mean something shady is going on. Anyhow..George Bush leaves office 12 months from this week-end and perhaps this will die the ususal 'slow death'.
I hate all of this Bilderberger crap when it moves so fast as to be obvious. It becomes contentious and unnecessarily stressful to the various countries. If big money is going to run everything, which they are, they need to use a little finesse.

dani, the Bilderbergers, Trilaterals, and other Illuminati are groups of financially successful businesses and businessmen that get together to consider ideas that will move political ideas and social situations in a direction they feel will be "mutually beneficial" to all in the conversation. Sometimes they take action on the ideas. As a result of competition, the groups are loosely organized, but as a result of who is involved and their work ethic, they are driven. Things happen. The senior George Bush has been an active member of these groups for decades. The border action of the junior Bush seems to indicate Dad has had some influence. My deduction may be wrong. I know what it is. It is a meeting of dozens, (hundreds?) of the rich and elite in the world. The UK is probably the most active participant. Not only Bush but Clinton and others attend these meetings. My question is why you brought it up?
The question of a North American Union keeps coming up, over and over. Isn't that why some of our Senators and Representatives keep pushing an Amnesty for illegal aliens and "open trade" with Mexico and Canada. Our President is allowing Mexican truckers full access to our country under the NAFTA treaty. It comes down to this. Since we are supposed to be electing these people to represent us, why are we, the people of the United States not informed about the NAU, Open Borders(unoffical, but real), and the Great Plan for the NAU our politicians have in store for us? Every day we read the propaganda news about the illegal alien invasion and amnesty, unsecure borders, the war in Iraq and Afgahnistan (over oil sources), and lately a recession(due to political manipulation perhaps?) Are we being herded like cattle by our leaders? Looks that way to me. Time for citizens to decide if we want to remain an independent country or not. Carefully research the persons for whom you vote in the upcoming election. These politicians will be making those decisions on our behalf.

DonH, any subject that the masses don't choose to understand can have a conspiracy of some sort attached to it. It's like magic. If you don't know how something works, it's magic. In politics it's a conspiracy. Whether you're for or against determines what kind of conspiracy. One type is a super-secret policy, the other type is a fantasy. Either way, ignorance plays an important role.

DonH, the spp has an interesting idea, but they seem to be skipping over the 'inclusive' part of their concept. Shouldn't they try to get the members of each country to go along with it?
One would expect the involvement of the respective citizens in Canada, the U.S, and Mexico for a true SPP Accord. That is, if there was not something that being hidden from the respective citizens. Looks very suspicious to me. Hence the perceived conspiracy. It's not so much what has been printed or has been quoted as being said. It is what is NOT being said that raises my interest. Looks like the old bait and switch routine with diversions to call attention away from the REAL agenda.
