RYAN AND KIRK LEMMEN
STATS: 18, seniors at Greenbrier High School
WHAT: Twins, Eagle Scouts
THEIR STORY: Kirk and Ryan are the first twins to become Eagle Scouts on the same day in this region. They both completed their Eagle projects at the YMCA Marshall Camp. Kirk cleared a space and built a fire pit and a prep table, while Ryan constructed an Orienteering course, where you find your way around a course using a compass.
The brothers continue in Scouting through the Venturing program, which offers high-adventure outings.
Kirk also is president of Greenbrier's Japanese Culture Club and plays trombone in the school band. Ryan also participates in the club.
"I don't know what life would be like without Kirk -- we've never been really apart," says Ryan.
