AUGUSTA, Ga. - Funeral services for L.D. Sumpter, Jr., who entered into rest on January 10, 2008, will be conducted Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at 2 p.m. at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home, Gibson Chapel, Rev. J.C. Trowell officiating. Survivors are four daughters, Shirley Cottman, Cynthia Sumpter, Thelma Moody and Lidonna Sumpter; one son, Fredrick Sumpter; one stepson, Norman Golphin; one sister, Retha Sumpter; and one brother, L.D.
