GLOVERVILLE, S.C. - Mr. Howard H. Goodwin, 69, of Gloverville, S.C., beloved husband of fifty-one years to Mrs. Ada Elizabeth Robinson Goodwin and son of the late Ernest C. Goodwin, Sr. and the late Callie Lucas Goodwin Harris, entered into rest Monday, January 14th, 2008. Born in and a resident of Aiken County, S.C. for most of his life, he retired from Club Car Inc. after twenty-four years of service as a National Sales Manager. At the time of his death, he was the Estate Manager of Henson Mobile Home Park. He was a member of Mountain Creek Baptist Church and was an avid fan of Dale Sr. and Dale Jr. Mr. Goodwin enjoyed working on cars, hunting, and collecting guns. In addition to his wife, family members include children, Debra Elizabeth Reichhold (Jon), LaQuinta, Calif., Michael Howard "Mike" Goodwin (Hope), Martinez, Ga., and Angela Jean McKelvey (JC), Fairfield, Calif.; siblings, Edna Haney, Atlanta, Ga., Hattie Walker, Langley, S.C., Red Goodwin (Lynn), North Augusta, S.C., Christine Miller, North Augusta, S.C., Joann Mundy (Dan), Langley, S.C., and Earl "Buck" Harris (Pat), Columbus, Miss.; and grandchildren, Bradley Soloff, Brandon Soloff, Jessica Goodwin, Emily Goodwin, Courtney McKelvey, and Cade McKelvey. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 17th, 2008 at 11 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Langley, S.C., with Pastor George Holcombe officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Bath, S.C. Pallbearers will be Calsie Goodwin, III, Kojac Goodwin, Lloyd T. Goodwin, Jr., Mark Robinson, and Larry Patterson. To show appreciation for the care provided to Mr. Goodwin, the family has asked that memorials be made to Augusta Oncology Associates, 3696 Wheeler Rd., Augusta, Ga. 30909.
