MY KIDS ATTEND Columbia County schools and, believe me, iParent is not all that it's cracked up to be. I think Richmond County is a lot better than Columbia County; it's not all it's cracked up to be. Be thankful you're in Richmond County.

A BIG RAVE TO Warren Road recreation center. They are so nice to the children who come there.

MY RANT AND MY RAVE, folks, is this: I know a lot of people have cars and trucks, and I know that sometimes they have to park on the street, and that's understandable. But it would be very nice if they would try to park where they didn't have to block a person's driveway when the person backs out.

WITH THE NEW VOTER ID law, I wonder how many people living in Columbia County still use their Richmond County driver's license with their Richmond County address and vote in Richmond County to try to influence the elections here and what happens in Augusta?

WE CAN HAVE THE capital punishment for criminals that commit heinous crimes but parents don't have the right to spank their kids as a form of discipline? Don't this sound backwards? It does to me.
