GROVETOWN, Ga. - Entered into rest January 10, 2008 at University Hospital, Mrs. Lottie Adel Cato, 69, beloved wife of Rev. Lucius B. Cato for 55 years. The funeral service will be held Monday, January 14, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Bellevue Memorial Gardens Chapel with Rev. Dewain French officiating. Mrs. Cato will lie in state two hours prior to the service at the chapel. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery. Mrs. Cato was born in Columbia Co. and was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Pentecostal Church of Grovetown. Mrs. Cato was preceded in death by her father, Sam C. Newman, Sr. Survivors include: husband, Rev. Lucius B. Cato; son, Michael Keith Cato; two daughters, Sylvia Cato Glover and Phyllis Cato Joyce; three brothers, Sam C. Newman, Jr., Leroy M. Newman and Mark Edward Newman; sister, Deleito Newman Lewis; mother, Lucille Newman; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, January 13, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Florist: Monday, 9 a.m. Thomas L. King Funeral Home
